Hi everyone! Thanks for tuning-in today for a new episode of Entrepreneur Mindset-Reset, THE podcast where entrepreneurs just like you and me share how they master their mindset to overcome obstacles to their success.
In today’s episode, I am so excited to be speaking with the wonderful, big-hearted Terence Viban.
When Terence and I first spoke about him being a guest on the podcast, he said he wasn’t an entrepreneur, really, but definitely had the mindset part down. Terence has the entrepreneurial spirit, though, and has channeled that spirit and energy into building foundations that support young people in his home country of Cameroon.
In 2018, Terence started his first foundation, which he lovingly named after his mother, Elizabeth. He originally wanted to keep it small, providing vocational training for about 20 young women. There was so much interest, that they ultimately enrolled 40 young women in the training program. They have also provided sewing machines and computer literacy training. You’ll hear Terence say that this knowledge and training provides economic power for women and girls, and this is what they really want and need.
In late 2020, Terence started a second foundation to support high school students in Cameroon in studying for, and passing, the baccalaureate, which would open the doors for them to study in Europe beyond high school. The foundation connects student teachers in Germany and France with high school students in Cameroon, which provides a win-win for all: student teachers get experience teaching, and the high school students get their credentials.
You won’t want to miss Terence’s tips for being in the right mindset for success. Also, keep your eyes and ears peeled, because Terence will probably be launching a vegan nutrition business in the near future. And he said he’s not an entrepreneur yet! He has all the makings of a serial entrepreneur if you ask me. Listen and see for yourself.
So, grab a beverage or a snack and settle-in to listen to Terence and his amazing journey.

Terence’s Bio:
I am an independent Salesforce Contractor and Professional with extensive experience in the Salesforce Cloud. Over the past 4 years I have worked for a good number of companies including Salesforce, at different times being an employee, partner and even having Salesforce as my client. I currently hold 20 major Salesforce Certifications and 170 Badges and 117980 Points on Trailhead. As you can see, I am very passionate about Salesforce and really enjoy working with it, which makes me the man for the job.
My expertise can broken down into the following 4 areas;
- System, Solution and Technical Solution Architecture
- Technical Implementation and Development with APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Components & Salesforce Lightning Design Systems
- Teaching and Training included Training Content Creation
- General Salesforce Consulting
I strongly believe that out-of-the-box thinking, an eye for detail and being able to look a the big picture can make all the difference between a successful and a bad implementation. I also strongly believe, that when it comes to Software Development, "Less is More", meaning simplification should be the standard and over engineering should be avoided at all cost.
Do not hesitate to reach out if you are like minded. Looking forward to working with you.
