Martha’s Bio:

Martha Newport is the Founder and CEO of Martha Newport Realty Group, the top selling real estate team based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Two things are infused in everything she does: Growth and Energy. 

Before launching her real estate business in 2014, Martha had a dynamic 15-year career in marketing and project management at IBM. She did a hard pivot and took a jump into flipping a house, got her real estate license (at night) and leapt into the crazy world of real estate. 

She believes that if you do your best, take care of people first and grow everyday, your life can be big, beautiful and fulfilling. 

Originally from Nova Scotia, Martha has lived in North Carolina for more than half her life now, so her Canadian accent only comes out when she’s extra tired or excited. Outside of work, Martha enjoys spending time with her husband, two kiddos and two ridiculously small dogs, decorating cakes, working out (hard) and practicing meditation daily. 

She is a longtime supporter and volunteer for PORCH, a grass-roots hunger relief organization whose mission is to collect and distribute food for families going hungry in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro community. 

Martha’s passion for growth personally and professionally has been a force for change within herself, her real estate team and her community.
